How to adjust colors using PRO tools - hands on Color Checker Passport.
If you want to learn basics about the tool? Please check my first blog article : How to adjust colours using PRO tools How to adjust colours using PRO tools
Now few things you need to know about using Color Checker Passport.
Areas I marked in yellow and red are designated for contrast and brightness adjustments
Areas marked in blue are designated for tone adjustments in portrait and landscape. Clicking on them you can make image look more cold or warm.
All color swatches help in comparing the color on the color checker and on your monitor. Keep in mind monitor must be calibrated.
Here is the interpretation of attached pics:
Picture 1 : Areas marked in yellow and red show good contrast and brightness, but black swatches are not clearly visible. You also start loosing few swatches in blue marked areas.
Picture 2 : Contrast too high. You loose even more swatches in red and blue marked areas
Picture 3 : Better than in pic 2. You can distinguish most swatches marked in blue
Picture 4 : I lower the contrast and now you can see all swatches: contrast, brightness and tone.
