Jewellery Macro Photography: Staging the Ring

Good tip to save some time on jewellery editing. This simple trick will make your work easier.

Instead of setting the ring using the clay or putty - top picture and then digitally remove the clay, you can proceed this way:

1. Lay the ring flat, take a shot

2. Rotate the image 90 degrees CV

3, Proceed to the regular editing
